INITIATIVE DETAILS

REGISTRATION

– Each school may register one or more teams.
– Each team may include a maximum of 30 students, from the same class or from different classes, and one teacher/tutor.
– The same teacher may act as tutor for one or more teams (using different email addresses for registration).
– Registration must be completed by the team tutor and takes place exclusively online on the website (visit the “TUTORIAL” section).
There are no participation fees for either the school or the students.
– At the time of registration, all required information must be entered, including the team name and password.
– The registration closing date will be announced on the EcoLogicaCup website, in the NEWS section.

TRAINING SESSIONS

– The topics to be studied will be available in the THEMES section.

– Training sessions are carried out by the team under the guidance of the tutor.

– Training questions (multiple choice and with different levels of difficulty) are published approximately every week, starting from March; to access them, the password chosen at registration must be used.
During training, incorrect answers and unanswered questions score zero points.
– Training sessions can be completed at any time, from the publication date until their closing (the closing date will be announced on the website in the NEWS section).
– Each training session includes 10 questions (secondary schools) or 5 questions (primary schools), with a maximum time limit of 30 minutes, after which the quiz will automatically end and be submitted by the system. During the quiz, it is not possible to go back to a previous question, even if no answer was given.
– It is not possible to log in again to the same training session.

RANKINGS

– Separate rankings are provided by school level:

– Team ranking, to award the best team in the training sessions.

– School ranking, to award the school with the highest total training score (calculated as the sum of the scores of its teams).

– Internal school ranking, in case multiple teams from the same school are registered, to identify the team with the highest score that will participate in the final competition representing its school.

– In the final competition, each school is represented by only one team, selected according to the procedures described above.

PRIZES

All participants will receive a certificate.

For primary schools and lower and upper secondary schools, the following will be awarded:

– The best team in the training sessions.

– The best school in the training sessions.

– The team with the highest score in the final competition.

In the event of a tie, the shortest completion time will be considered.
